What is the Difference?
LPP
A licensed paralegal practitioner (LPP) is not an attorney. They provide SIMILAR services as an attorney in Family Law, but with some limitations. They typically CHARGE LESS for legal help than an attorney.
ATTORNEY
A licensed attorney is not limited to Family Law issues and may provide more comprehensive services. Although they may charge more for their services than an LPP, this may be a better fit, depending on the circumstances of your case.
PRO SE
Pro Se; self-represent, no assistance. At first glance, this may seem like the cheapest option, but may potentially COST THE MOST if you are not clear on all your assets and what you are legally entitled to.
